Foursquare co-founder Dennis Crowley shared the statistic with his Twitter followers, saying that he’d received an IM from Harry Heymann stating that “@foursquare growth is now 109% in last 30 days.” It is not clear how the growth is being measured–users or traffic–but it is an impressive number and certainly explains why we’ve been seeing a dramatic increase in the number of Foursquare friend requests recently.
