Adrian D. Parker is Social Media Director at RadioShack Corporation where he oversees the multi-channel customer experience to increase awareness, consideration, purchase, loyalty and advocacy. His team is responsible for developing enterprise-wide solutions that drive results across product marketing, customer care, media relations, e-commerce and human resources.
An award-winning brand strategist, Parker has 10 years of agency and client side expertise managing advertising, PR, web, CRM and international campaigns in specialty retail. He started his career at Footaction USA and Foot Locker where he rose to increasing levels of responsibility, including advertising, online marketing and brand development. Parker also served as Director of Marketing for Liz Claiborne’s retail division in New York City. In 2007 he founded The Parker Marketing Group, a marketing communications firm located in Dallas providing Fortune 500 solutions to retailers and small businesses.
A graduate of Florida A&M University, Parker has been recognized by various publications for achievements inbusiness and regularly counsels entrepreneurs and youth organizations. He and his wife, Alisha, are also activein several local community interests.
