Randall Brown

Randall Brown is the lead global digital strategist at The Gatorade Company. Brown joined Gatorade in 2002 and has held a wide breadth of roles on the brand, including positions in sports marketing, base business, innovation and traditional marketing. Brown has led Gatorade’s brand transformation in the digital space, most notably spearheading the development and launch of Gatorade Mission Control, a platform for real-time social media monitoring and engagement, analytics and insights. He has also been instrumental in the transformation of the brand’s online marketing and communication efforts.

Brown has led groundbreaking work on a number of innovations, including the brand’s recent G Series and G Series FIT campaigns. He has also led a number of communications initiatives combining traditional and emerging media for Gatorade, including his work as the mastermind behind “Ball Girl”, which earned the “Best Viral Video” title in 2008 by SportsIllustrated.com. Brown has also earned accolades for his vision and leadership of Gatorade REPLAY, garnering recognition from Cannes, the Emmy’s and Andy Awards.

Brown holds a degree in psychology and economics from Dartmouth College. He has lived abroad in Spain, Honduras and Japan, and is fluent in English and Spanish, and is proficient in Japanese and Sign Language.
