- Twitter’s new profiles now available to everyone – Twitter’s redesigned user profile pages rolled out last Tuesday; new features include the ability to pin tweets to the top of your profile and the option to choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles (Twitter)
- Twitter hopes a smarter signup process will keep you from fleeing – Twitter is testing a new method for signing up new users; the service asks to connect to new users’ gmail and then uses their contacts to suggest relevant people to follow (Wired)
- Twitter lets advertisers promote website content – last Friday, Twitter announced the “Website Card” to help advertisers showcase their website content inside tweets and point audiences to any page of their site (CNET)
- Twitter says native ads will be available to all MoPub publishers tomorrow – blog posts from both MoPub and Twitter announced that native ads will now be available for all MoPub publishers (TechCrunch)
- LinkedIn opens ad platform, launches API for new marketing partners – last Thursday LinkedIn unveiled two new programs, the Sponsored Updates API and Content Partners, which helps marketers sponsor high-quality content (AdWeek)
- At 30 billion pins, Pinterest has a fresh take on search — and it’s all about mobile – last week Pinterest introduced a new search feature made for mobile phones and tablets; it’s controlled by swipes (not typing) and based on open-ended discovery (re/code)
