How to Set Up Apple ID On Different Devices

Setting Up Apple ID on an iPhone/iPad
Tap on the “settings” app on the main screen. Once you’re in, tap on the top where it says “Sign in to your iPhone.” From there, tap on “Don’t have an Apple ID” at the bottom. A new window will pop up—tap on the “Create Apple ID” option.
You’ll be prompted for your birthday—enter it in and tap next. The next screen will ask you for your first and last name. Type it in and press next. Last but not least, you’ll have to enter an e-mail and password—this is your Apple ID.
The last step is to input the verification code onto the screen (you’ll receive a 6-digit number via email). That’s it, you’re finished.
Setting Up Apple ID on a Mac
Wondering how to create Apple ID on your Mac? It’s easy—you can do it through iTunes.
Once you’ve opened the app, scroll to the bottom and click “Account.” A popup window will come up—click on “Create Apple ID.” Read through the terms and conditions and click agree.
From there, you’ll be asked to enter your email address and password. Type your details in, press next, and input your billing information (optional). When you’re done, click “Create Apple ID” and a verification email will be sent to your email address.
Click on the link in the email and you’ll be good to go.
Alternatively, you can create an Apple ID via their website. Visit appleid.apple.com and click on “Create your Apple ID” at the bottom of the page. Enter the necessary information, press continue, and you’ll be asked for an email address and password.
Type in the details, press continue, and you’ll receive an email with a 6-digit verification code. Enter the same code onto the site, click “verify” and you’re finished!
