Martha Stewart, Founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, is interviewed by David Pogue, Columnist for The New York Times.
Martha opens up about Twitter and admits to a five-minute limit for tweeting each day (“it’s addictive!”), which she finds to be very productive; she also blogs and posts photos every day. Martha sees Twitter as an incredibly useful communication tool, and while she can’t personally read every response, she ensures that someone on her staff does.
An aficionado of crowd-sourcing, Martha really listens to her followers, and asks them questions often. She discusses Twitter strategy (plan to send tweets even while on vacation!), Ashton Kutcher, Britney Spears, Puff Daddy, and measuring followers-per-tweet.
This video was filmed at TWTRCON NY on June 14, 2010.
