A Silverpop poll of more than 1,800 marketers found that while 42% of b-to-c marketers are including links to social networking sites in their email marketing campaigns, only 29% of b2b marketers have done similar integration.
Silverpop found that every social email evaluated included at least a link to Facebook. MySpace, Twitter and Digg were the next most frequently included links. While LinkedIn was a distant fifth overall, 83% of the B2B emails analyzed included a link to LinkedIn.
