Over the last few weeks, Twitter’s been rolling out its new advertising products–you have probably noticed Promoted Trends, Promoted Tweets and even Promoted Followers on the service’s web site. Promoted Tweets are now also appearing in the user timeline for HootSuite users, and even in Google search results.
The reaction from users, judging by comments on Twitter, has been mixed. Some marketers, such as MacDonalds and Conan, have begun experimenting with the new product, but there are still many unanswered questions.
Click here to take our short survey and tell us what you think!
We’re partnering with oneforty.com to field a quick poll to find out what users and businesses think about this new product. We’ll release the results at TWTRCON SF next week (where we’ll also be interviewing Twitter’s new President of Revenue about them), and will post them on our site for everyone to see.
We have prizes to thank you for your time!
At the end of the survey, you’ll be able to pick from one of 3 prizes–choose the one you would like to win; we’ll pick one winner for each:
- One free pass to TWTRCON SF 2010
- One free 15-minute consultation with Laura Fitton, either onsite at TWTRCON SF or by phone
- One autographed copy of Laura Fitton’s Twitter for Dummies
In addition to this survey, we’re also partnering with Objective Marketer, who will add some sentiment analysis based on what people are saying about the new products on Twitter.
