Improve Your Staff Uniforms and
Boost Your Branding at The Same Time
Most firms provide their staff with a uniform of some kind. There are many good reasons to do so. To start with it is an effective way to make sure that everyone turns up to work looking presentable.
It also ensures that everyone has access to safety clothing that meets the required standard. Plus, if you do it right, it is an effective way to get your brand seen more often. The net result of which is that the name of your company is the one that will be at the front of the mind of potential customers. If you have not reviewed your staff uniform for a while. Now, is a good time to do so. As you will see there are quite a few enhancements you could make. Including several that can give your branding a little boost.
Provide Your Staff with Better Protection from The Weather
Right now, in the Northern hemisphere, it is pretty cold. Winter is upon us, so if your staff spend any time outdoors, it is a good idea to review things to make sure you are providing them with enough protection from the cold. Safety Stock branded face snoods look good and are extremely versatile. In the morning, they can be worn up over the head and across the face. As the day warms up it can simply be worn around the neck. Or taken off and slipped into a pocket for later use.
You may also want to consider ordering gloves that feature your logo and strapline. Plus, maybe, treat everyone to a new coat, body warmer or fleece. All of which can easily be custom ordered.
In the Southern hemisphere, where the weather is hot, right now, hats would be a good addition to most uniforms. Once again, you have the option to order headgear that fits in with your brand colors and features your logo. Be sure that you order a style that will actually provide some protection from the sun.
Provide Everyone with An Extra Uniform
Your staff need to be able to launder their uniforms properly. It is surprising how many firms expect people to manage with just two changes of clothes, or worse only one uniform. If someone spills something down themselves having to go home wash it and get it dry and ironed for the next day is not easy. Someone who is working double shifts for a few days and only has one uniform will struggle to look smart by the end of it. If you can afford to do so, give each person an extra change of clothes.
The more people see your brand the easier it will be for them to remember you and your service or product. Just make sure that your branding is seen in a positive light. The last thing you want is for your company name to first be seen on an ancient sun-bleached and ripped or dirty uniform jacket. Bear in mind that the person wearing your branding will be perceived by potential clients as being a representative of your business.
